What is the Structured Literacy (Orton-Gillingham) Approach?
Structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham) is a multisensory, interactive approach to instruction specifically designed to match the skills and needs of those with reading differences. The Orton-Gillingham approach has been around for over 70 years, and its principles have been tested, researched, and validated with positive results, over and over again.
